In the past, our department had a library for special collections with about 40,000 volumes of professional books which were published in China, 400 periodicals and some books published in Taiwan. We also had academic publications for students to read and to take reference for their thesis.
Our department prepares about 1 million NT dollars of budget to buy equipment, facilities and books every year. After we moved our classical collections to the main library in 2006, we made more space for our study rooms and classrooms. Also, the learning environment became better after the Classroom of Calligraphy in Hong Dao Building was renovated.
I. Computer lab: 10 computers all equipped with colored inkjet printers, high- performance laser printers, copy machine, and A3 scanners.
II. Study room: projectors, TV, DVD player, 120 inch projector screen, stereo set and computers.
III. Teaching facilities: All kinds of books, digital camera, TV, DVD player, projector, portable LCD/DLP projector, automated projector screen, loud speaker, computers and air conditioner.
